Established in 1977, Foodesign has served the architectural community as a food facility consulting firm for over 46 years. We
hold certifications as both a WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business) and an EDWOSB (Economically Disadvantaged
Women-Owned Small Business). Our firm has experience in all industry sectors, including Clubs & Restaurants, Colleges &
Universities, Corporate, Correctional, Educational, Government & Military, Healthcare, Hotels & Conference Centers,
Laundries, Retirement, and Sports & Entertainment. Our license is with the North Carolina Secretary of State ID

Foodesign has the capabilities that a more extensive agency offers but with a smaller scale, more personable team. You speak
directly to the highly experienced leader who is doing the work, not layers of account management, and that design principal
will be available from start to finish on every project. We work collaboratively with our design team using Revit, AutoCAD, and
other Autodesk-related 3D design software to produce the highest-quality drawing and use matching digital program formats
and team-share file platforms. We design to meet LEED standards on every project and specify Energy Star equipment to the
fullest capacity.


In addition to our design activities, Foodesign has provided predesign studies and existing facility reports for federal, state, and
local projects. Our services have included system-wide evaluations and recommendations for compliance with the latest code
and standard requirements on food service systems and equipment. We have participated on advisory committees for
selecting food service operators, in educational panels at local college design classes for nutritional program students, as
lecturers on design, and conducted state-wide round table discussions at public facility food service personnel seminars.
